Ryan is an Associate Attorney at The Zoghlin Group, assisting the firm across all practice areas, including: helping clients commence, prosecute, and defend Article 78 proceedings for environmental, land use & zoning, and municipal law matters; serving as counsel to municipal boards; advising applicants and opponents through municipal approval processes; and representing property owners and municipalities through code enforcement matters.
Prior to law school, Ryan worked as an paralegal in Rochester, NY. During law school, Ryan worked on environmental, municipal, contract, and legislative matters for the Onondaga County Law Department; water, mineral, and pollution cases with the NYS DEC; and for the Zoghlin Group. He also participated in the College of Law’s Transactional Law Clinic, helping clients with corporate and non-profit formation and operation.
Ryan graduated from SUNY Geneseo, where he studied Business and Public Administration, and he graduated from the University of Durham, in England, where he studied International Relations. Ryan’s interests center on property and constitutional rights, as well as government centric legal issues. Ryan was born and raised in Penfield, NY, and can be found outside of work doing art, or learning about history and true crime.
